NATO successfully tests multinational telemedicine exercise

NATO is moving forward with its telemedicine initiatives, and has a goal of creating a system across nations that can increase health access as well as survival rates during emergencies.

The organization just last month successfully tested a field exercise in Lviv, Ukraine, using the technology, according to a NATO announcement.

In late June, leaders from NATO were in South Dakota to work with a telemedicine hub and get ideas for the multinational telemedicine system.
