In 2015, health IT professionals earned an average salary of more than $111,000, according to a survey by the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, Health Data Managementreports (Slabodkin, Health Data Management, 1/6).
Survey Details
For the survey, HIMSS polled 1,900 health care professionals, including:
- CEOs;
- CIOs;
- Chief medical information officers;
- Clinical systems analysts;
- IT project managers; and
- Sales professionals (Morse, Healthcare IT News, 1/5).
Survey Findings
Overall, the survey found health IT workers last year earned an average of $111,388, while the median salary was $90,000. For the full article click here
