ICIT Fellow Insights: The Rural Health Crisis in America – Part 1

Demand for access in basic healthcare is growing in poor, rural areas. Hospitals and clinics are closing. Technology is available to solve the problem but bureaucracy is getting in the way. Worst of all, Government at the Local and Federal levels are struggling to pass laws to solve the problem. This isn’t a story from some far off land, but is happening right here in the U.S.

Join ICIT Fellow Dr. Kafi Wilson, President of KWMD, LLC and practicing hospitalist and medical director and ICIT Sr. Fellow Parham Eftekhari during Part 1 of our series on Rural Health as we give an overview of the state of Rural Health in the U.S. and how we as a community must prioritize to provide quality care to patients in rural communities.
